Modern designer room by multi-award-winning architect Stefan Hitthaler based on drawings by Parisian artist Sylvie Riant with separate reading corner and balcony with views of our biological natural outdoor swimming pond.
In the artist’s words:
“The room. It must become my room in the shortest time. It must welcome me and those who are with me. Because it will for a limited period of time be the centre of my private life. Because I transfer the core of my being here: The books I have long promised myself to read, my mood, my favourite clothes, his dolls and teddy bears, my watercolours and her clarinet, his dummy and your favourite fairy tales, our dreams and our memories, the hiking boots and the letter paper with the address book, his many guides and the box of Aspirins. Oh well, I’m sure to forget something.
Furniture. The small, not built-in pieces of furniture in this room also make me want to play. In the bedside tables, newspaper desks, television towers I recognise helmets, robots, guards. Human pieces of furniture with mouths and eyes which look at me, speak to me.”
